I can't help think his marketability is part of the attraction of him. I mean he could score an over kick in both goals such are his actions at times. Plus he has the big hair and instantly recognisable.

The Daily Mail says that City have turned their attention to Chelsea defender David Luiz as cover for the injured Micah Richards and The Sun reports that Chelsea have rejected a bid from City for Luiz but we can confirm that there has been no bid and that these stories are without foundation.

Yes, he took his eye off the ball last year (smashed car, fashion shows, modelling) but he's important to the way they play, so I just can't see him being sold. Seemed to have sorted himself out for the Euros.
