David Moyes - Honest opinions

Watching Everton on MoTD at the weekend made me think is Moyes a good manager, or has he just had some good players?

I used to just accept the general media line of he's a good manager with no money. One year dire, then the next pushing for honours didn't make me question it too much, but the question crossed my mind Saturday night and I don't know enough about him/them to make my mind up.

-They seem to only have one way of playing, but then if they can't get the players...
-They seem to buy some good players, but not enough. And some not so good ones! Is his good with no money, or not so good with only a little?
-Is he just lucky enough to be at a club with enough kudos to attract 'good enough' players that can cover up his short comings?

Hopefully you can see what I'm getting at.

Putting your pro Moyes bias aside (I know I'll get stick for daring to even question a man some on here see as a God), the question is simple;

Is he a good manager who has no money, or is he very average?

Apart from the 3000 Everton fans, I don't think anyone thinks of him as a god tbh.

He is a decent manager who works with little resource. Not great though just ok.

He is a prick, he was moaning about bolton winning by scrappy goals. Well fair enough the first goal was scrappy but the second goal certainly wasn't and Bolton came close to making it 3-0 when sturrdige back heeled it for the other player to bang in but the ball was slightly over the line.

A good manager, Brilliant for Everton however he has been there too long IMHO and why did he loan out his best CF?

Chosen well in the transfer market he has, yes, mmm, made average players play better than they are has he not? Kept his spending down yess.

But. Tactically the force is not with him and that can only lead to fear, fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.. and eventually to the dark side !! (Man U)
