David Pizarro

Yes I remember him last year. He ran around a but like Aguero. But he is getting old and we don't need him this season if we secure Fernandinho for example.
Not a great example. Nothing alike. If we were to sign Thiago, we wouldn't need him. Maybe even Hernanes.

Example with Aguero or Fernandinho? I never said he was alike to either as a player. He just runs like Aguero lol and if we get more defensive stability in midfield we won't need an extra person. But to be honest he never really was that defensive. Probably Thiago and Hernanes would be better examples of 'replacements' for him.

On a cheap deal I'd be in favour of this. Great technique to teach the kids and top quality back up. If he could pass on his vision and decision making to rodwell garcia even ntcham etc that'd be invaluable.

Only if we exhaust our transfer budget on others, IMO. He's a deep-lying playmaker (every squad should have one) and there are younger players we could sign who can play the role like Thiago... if we don't spend all our money on others.

I'd like this to happen. Who've we got other than Barry with his range of passing? (Don't even suggest De Jong shouldn't have been sold)

Pizarro came on and opened up Sunderland in 5 minutes when we were 3-1 down that time. Look how crucial that point was. Different dimension in midfield for those games where we're practically playing on the edge of the box and have about 60% possession. Don't see why so many people would be against it.

He's 33? That it? Barry's no pace. I think we actually lack experience in that team and have done since Vieira retired. Never a bad thing to have older players.

I wouldn't say no to him as a squad player, he has excellent technique and passing range, I was impressed with him when we had him on loan. He shouldn't be too expensive in either fee or wages.

Sorry, but Pizarro has a far superior range of passing to Barry.

His wife must be thinking ffs David, we've just got all our stuff back from the last time we lived there!

Confused as to why he would leave Florence after a very successful season and regular starting place to come back here. Can't see him playing in a CL game, but definitely would feature in the EL for the Viola.
