I think that's probably the worst thing I've ever read on here. Given the utter shite spouted on here on a regular basis, that's quite impressive.

It is a low point but it's best not to give it attention. This is how Trump just got elected.

Tell you what. List the games when he's picked up the team by the scruff of the neck when they're not playing well and dragged them to a win by force of character. If you can come up with 10 in the next 30 minutes, I'll hold my hands up, apologise and say I was wrong.

I'll start you off:
1) Hull (A) 2013/14

There's no need to apologise as its your opinion. On top of that, it's undeniable that Yaya has produced more goals in important games. However, he highlighted the last part so I think that's what the response is aimed at:

"When I think about Silva I'll remember a really nice player who once really turned it on at Hull."

When I look back in 10 years time, I'll remember Yaya for some towering performances when it mattered. The FA Cup semi, the final, the penultimate game at Newcastle in 2011/12, the 2013/14 season, not least his goal at Wembley and the rest he scored. When I think about Silva I'll remember a really nice player who once really turned it on at Hull.

Whenever I think of silva I smile and get a warm feeling. He is absolute class. We are so lucky to have had him at our club for so long , he will be a true legend of the club. My favourite city player ever.

And that was the game when he showed what he really could be. He was fucking sensational that day and scored a wonderful goal that was Yaya-esque and I haven't seen that anywhere near enough. People think I'm knocking him but I think he's got as much talent as Messi and that's what frustrates me about him because he doesn't deliver that extra 10% that would put him up there with players like Messi or Zidane.

It passes all understanding why he won't shoot - and it's not as though his team mates are in better positions. I once said that if he took a penalty he would be just as inclined to pass it to someone than shoot.

He did take a penalty and passed it to the keeper.

I think we're all agreed he doesn't take penalties. Doesn't have any affect on his standing as a player though. As for not scoring goals, he scores more for City than Iniesta does for Barca (1 in 6 as opposed to 1 in 12) yet if you slagged off Iniesta for a lack of goals scored people would rightly think you were either ignorant of the game or raving mad.
