He obviously wanted to be here for the trophy presentation but I’m not sure I would have even played him yesterday. He’s had an amazing season but he’s never as effective against bus-parkers like Huddersfield as he is when he’s got space between the lines. Hopefully we’ll see him strut his stuff in a WC Final this summer.

Just seen the Sky highlights and the interview Jeff Shreeves did with Dave on the pitch. I knew the sneaky fucker could speak English. Er; Dave, not Shreeves! Excellent that he confirmed mini Dave is getting better as well.
