This wouldn't surprise me at all as he's always said he wants to retire at Las Palmas.
Can't believe it'd mean only 2 more seasons of Merlin though...
Hopefully its 3 more seasons so he gets a decade before going there!

I still think he can play at the top until he's 35 or so, he doesn't rely on pace or strength, he plays the game in his head.

I expect nothing less than magic from him. Especially knowing that he was our player of the year previous season. So its not like he is washed up. Also for player so intelligent and talented decline will be a lot slower than someone who relies on speed and athleticism.
