David Silva - 2017/18 performances

Great news about Mateo - he has been out of the main room at the hospital and not attached to any monitors permanently so hopefully he can leave hospital in next 2 days hence David has stayed with him to experience the big moment when he comes out.

Sorry mate, that's the problem saying anything because these situations are fluid.
I get to know the odd transfer news etc but would never share for the same reason.
Hope you won anyway

That is just such brilliant news. We sure missed him today but that is far more important. Didn't think he could go up in my estimation any more but he has this season. A genius + mentally hard as nails.

Just seen it myself Jim.Excellent news for the family,our Club and Spain.
 
We need to show our affection for Silva in a song/chant. We don't appear to be able to come up with anything original but what's wrong with a straight forward "there's only one David Silva". Not very clever but better than nothing.

Haha, was just coming on here to post this video.

He is the greatest player to wear our shirt, in my opinion. His performances this season, through all of the adversity, which would have crippled otherwise strong willed men, cemented the status for me.

I always forget that he’s got a japanese mother, I always look at him and think he looks very Asian for a Spanish bloke.
