Thanks to Merlin. He wanted the win and finally got it for all of us.

He got us the goal but everyone wanted the win,as their performance/efforts proved.
I'm not sure I agree that everyone's performance showed that they wanted a win. Silva was surely one of those that wanted the win and he eventually got it for us so I don't know what you're on about.

You think there were players out there who weren't trying or giving their best?

How very odd.

Agree fully with Pep's post match comments on the player. He's the only player from this current generation I would've loved to have seen play for Pep's Barcelona - he has that special quality few possess

Missed out didn’t he? Damn shame he didn’t play for glorious Barca. :-(

After every Hazard Salah Kane Sanchez Pogba goal this deluge of social media posts come up as best MF in world, best player in EPL, best striker etc etc.. but fact remains this decade (since 2010) if there has been one player who has been top notch every year every month every competition its only and only David Silva. He is the best player in EPL without a shade of doubt.

'Livewire brilliance' Scott Murray of The Guardian called his goal. In the anticipation of what Posch was going to do, the quicksilver ability to rob him, and then the execution, I think it's one of his best for us; a little masterpiece that looked nonchalant and was anything but.
