I was staggered he was in the team last night. He's been rubbish since Christmas, I can't remember the last time he's properly impacted a game.

David actually had a good game tonight.
We were a penalty miss & Delph mistake away from a tactical masterclass. We were turning the screw and bang! mistake & they score.
This is football.

It's not that long since he was fantastic for us, certainly the first part of this season. But to say he had a good game last night is just wrong. You only needed to see his face when he got to the bench to see what he made of his performance.

Perhaps it is fatigue, mentally amd physically. He has been through a hell of a lot off the field and perhaps he can't shake that tiredness off.
