His level has dropped over the last few months but its dangerous to start writing him off yet. He is still finding the spaces, reading the game and making passes others in our team cant. Yes Bernardo will usurp him at some point (and in some respects already has) but when the whole team level has dropped (and if you look at the previous game to last night Bernardo's performance was notably below par) then that doesnt help.

I agree it's too early to write him off. But I have noticed two things:
His passing is lacking that little bit of additional information that it used to have (if that makes sense) and distinguished him from other midfielders.
He was physically more at it last season and beginning of this.

I do wonder if he is carrying an injury as he is physically lacking something at present.

I do think his play is being affected by a drop off in team performance as well

I liked your original post as I knew you didn't mean apathy or lack of it, other won't overlook that kind of error, it would have been best just to keep it to his powers are on the wane, unfortunately.

Hmm replying is biting, it is a catch 22 situation, don't reply and I would be in the huff, reply and it is biting, oddly I never responded to your insult but to the talking shite part, so not really biting, tbf this is more of a bite but what you meant to do.

I don't have any problem making a **** of myself mate, both on here and in person. And I'm fuckin' good at making a **** out of others, particularly melts: )

Minutes need to be limited if we're to get the best out of him. Early on he was class this year, but he's clearly nakard. It's time to pass the mantel, but he's still invaluable to us. Just can't be playing 90mins on the reg these days.
