The maestro song is almost two years old now, I think we can say it hasn't caught on.

I can't say I ever heard it at home and I was next to the 'singing section' until this year.

Heard it at away games - usually sung by the same few people who, I'm guessing, came up with it and are trying their utmost utmost to keep it going. Time to let it go lads, it's shit - the maestro of Maine Road? What next Aguero the Wizard of Hyde Road?

The Maestro song is a bit weak, surely someone can come up with something catchy with the Viva Espana Chorus tune. I can't rhyme or sing for toffee, so count me out.

suarez song though that is, i like the ole ole silva song, much better than all others, its from the darts, it was born in villareall and has been sung on the odd occasion,so that will probably be it, but i have to say the maestro bit is fucking stupid,

I liked the one last season for Barry (albeit the problem with player names in songs is that when they leave or go on loan the song is then worthless!)

Why don't we just exchange the word "Barry" for "City"

1000% this version should be sang, it is an original song which could really stick.

Glad you agree that this is a good song! I can't get it out of my head and sing it at home all the time which the Mrs doesn't exactly appreciate......but its better than listening to X Factor!!!

Any chance someone could start a new thread with it in as otherwise its just going to get lost in here......as this is meant to be David Silva chants!

Your Silva song is decent I think but in all honesty it will be difficult to get rid of the great escape one now (I was there in Villareal when I first remember it being sung and at the time it sounded brilliant after a few beers) now when you hear it back the words are terrible!! I orignally thought it was "master of Maine Road" then "maestro of Maine Road" and now "wizard of Maine Road", the reference back to the 6-1 as well isn't brilliant but other than that its a good song hahaha!
