David Silva: Is he untouchable?

Re: paranoia!!!!

Now of course we couldnt suggest that the press who are still hurting from our win as it tore up their scripts and some of whom have openly admitted that they are upset by our win ( steve curry on ssn this morning ) are dragging up old stories in an attempt to destabilise and take the attention away from the drubbing handing out by us.

Utd beat us you wouldnt have heard either of these stories. We win our best player is open to leaving and our currently hot striker is wanted by the club he supports.

Ho Hum just another day of made up gibberish.

Please can we get Dave on some sort of buy out clause, say a billion!! reading reports this morning that the national team means so much to him that he would be open to a move back to spain to guarentee starting more games!!

Also AC are back on the Mario band wagon!!

i hope both stay for years to come but as a city fan is only natural to see the bad side!!

actually those reports in the papers are just them guessing.

stop worrying he was on spanish radio last night and said ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
"I want many years at City" and "Real Madrid and Barcelona are great teams, but I want many years here. My family like me, is happy. People treat me very well" direct quotes .

I genuinely think he is happy here. He is the fulcrum of the team and quickly becoming the face of the Premier League. I remember when he joined that was one of the reasons he stated as a reason why. That Mancini would build the team around him. he likes that and I don't think he would get it in Spain.

To think that a number of us can easily find fault with him especially Villareal's goal against us last week. When he was 'hang out to dry'.
Yes the bottom line is that for Silva to excel (soar like an eagle) & City's titles aspirations he needs to be surrounded by the right players. A warning to us that to mitigate our Merlin from being denied time, space & options for channeling his passes.

Clearly Mancini has seen the light with his team selection & lineup for the demolition derby! Kudos to Mancini.

My worry is if he starts to feel he's missing out on the national team. He hinted something before the derby about wondering if he would be more prominent in the nation team if he played for Barcelona or RM. I hope it doesn't become a problem because he strikes me as the sort of guy who takes representing his country seriously.

Why should he want to leave guys, say barca or Madrid did come in, David would not be an automatic, here he knows he has the chance to be the star of the club, the whole world are looking at him here, at the 2 above mentioned he would be just another brick on the wall. has any noticed he never looks at the ball while at his feet, a more natural footballer I have never seen.

The way Merlin is playing atm it would be difficult to leave him out of the National team, even if Iniesta and Xavi are available.
