hes said he was unhappy with being constantly overlooked for the spanish team and felt only players for madrid and barca are being picked, but hes had a few games in the first spain 11 so i think aslong as he plays for his country and were doing alright he'll be very happy here
If he keeps playing at this level they will have no choice but to play him all the time.
youd think so but international managers have their grudges etc, just look at micah constantly being overlooked despite him being a country mile ahead of the rest of the england defence

I notice none of the dickhead pundits are calling him
David Vila anymore...they know exactly who he is now
like they never knew who he was before city, just a snide dig because they rekoned he must've been shit to end up at city

Was just thinking; what if Real or Barcelona decided to try to get Silva at all costs, - would we sell him? Or is he untouchable, much like Messi is for Barcelona?
It's a thought which scares me to be honest. I wonder what kind of fee we would be talking about if it happened; +£80mil for sure.

Please tell me not to worry, and that Silva will remain a City player for as long as we want him to.

We'll be alright but we need a good song or two for him. How about one to the tune of Eviva Espana;

swap these lyrics;

Oh, this year I`m off to sunny Spain, eviva Espana,
I`m taking the Costa Brava plane, eviva Espana.
If you`d like to chat a matador, in some cool cabana,
and meet senoritas by the score, Espana por favor.
Espana por favor. "Ole!"

for these;

Oh, he’s here in blue from sunny Spain, eviva David Silva,
He’s taking the piss today again, eviva David Silva,
He dicked munich like a £10 whore, In their funeral parlour
He back heals & nutmegs by the score, David Silva por favour

Da la, la la la la la, eviva David Silva,
Da la, la la la la la, eviva David Silva,

If not this song, surely we need a good one to take Villareal? Make him feel loved at home and put a bit of a do on for him, maybe with some clackers (castanets) and maracas and I reckon we'll have no worries about him doing one

However, he put paid to those rumours whilst speaking to Spanish radio station Cadena Ser today, announcing his contentment with his current employers.

"(City) were the team that were most willing to take a gamble on me. I don't think they were the only team to offer a lot for me but I am happy they did," Silva explained.

"Barcelona and Real Madrid are great teams but I'm very happy here and would like to be here for many years here. My family is like me, happy. People have treated me very well, I am very quiet and I live in a quiet area.

"I thought it would be harder to settle but I have made it easier and I am very happy. The atmosphere suits me, the competitiveness and tranquillity of every day is essential."
