David Silva leaves City after 10 years

This was a hell of a ride and he has one more season to deliver with our beloved blues.
Looking forwards to September 2020:

What a player, he could find space in Hattie jacques knickers, still don’t think he gets the media recognition he deserves, nowt new there I suppose, never heard an opposition supporter have anything but admiration for him, that speaks volumes in itself, a truly magnificent, gifted footballer, the best city have ever had in my humble opinion

It's hard to describe how I actually feel on hearing this news, absolutely gutted I guess is a start, but what a footballer, and just as important, what a man, an absolute class human being of the highest order, and, as I'm sure we all do, wish Dave and his family every success and every happiness from here on in, where ever he goes, Thank you David Silva, I'm going to savour every moment of this season watching you play !
 
After the way he(and Yaya)were ridiculed following that 0-0 draw at Spurs in their first game, I think its fair to say, he(and indeed they both)responded, at his best he was a joy to watch, at his worst he was still a joy to watch....................
 
It’s not like he had gone already or died yesterday. We still have a whole season left to enjoy our Merlin. And when it’s his final game for us, that’ll be the moment to drop a tear or two. I sincerely hope that game will be a CL- final. As to fulfill Merlins’ last wish when playing for City.
