Simply one of the best. Nothing flashy about him either, just dictated games with consumate ease.
And shows how tremendously well run our club is now as no doubt we are losing one of the worlds very best, we have players, young players who are capable and ready to step up.

Never have lyrics been so meaningful.
David is the absolute and ultimate legend and in modern times is up there alongside Vinny and Sergio.
Absolutely love the guy, but he has played his part including helping in the development of of KDB, Bernardo and Phil Foden. There are not the words to express the gratitude owed and affection deserved by this legend.

where do you start with this fella.
"class" is word so often over used in football today, this lad though oozes it, he oozes it on the field of play, in the dressing room and in his daily life. no hissy fits, no front page headlines. no stropps for a move, not even for more dosh. a model professional in every way. we all see these players as gods, heroes, and someone to take us away from the weekly grind as we wonder at their splendour. yes paid handsomely but in our eyes we only see the player. David is one of those players who would play the game for a tenner a week such is his love for the game and his humble view of life. he has his family , his beautiful baby boy, he's content. i wish him well on his onward journey, he'll go home and play without the glare of the premier league, wont get the same wages but he wont give a rats arse, he'll just be happy. he deserves it.
the coming season is my 54th watching City, is he the best player i have seen? just a bit, i've seen them all but this argument isn't even close.

What an occasion that was, the most emotional for me watching City.The last time I had a tear in my eye for a player was 26th December 1977. It will probably happen again at the end of the season.
again another city player that should have been PFA player of the year a couple of times ?? but because he plays for manchester city they could never give it to him, silva as been the best player in the premier league by a country mile and if he was playing in a red top would have been talked about being the best and put a statue outside the ground he is that good
thank god he is a blue and watching him over the last 9 years is truly a dream and what more can i say about silva, and will be talked about in the blue camp forever, a true legend that people will have tears in their eyes when talking about how good silva was and is right up there with the bells and summerbee and dare i say above them
