rarely read so much shite in all my years on here. How many people had him in their predicted eleven tonight? Gundogan has done brilliantly this season and seasons before when called upon,he Was the better fit for the starting eleven tonight and hindsight doesn’t change that. Players don’t get picked on sentiment otherwise we would have put up with another season of Hart refusing to try and play out from the back

I just can't believe he was not picked last night.

Since coming back from lockdown refreshed he looked like the David Silva of old.

Last night was THE game for him, had to be captain and lead his beloved club into the semis.

I would understand if not picked to face Bayern, but Leon , he had to start.

This is not sentiment, this is picking a player who loved this club, would run through a brick wall and the most important of all, would be utterly motivated to succeed, one final chance to show the fans that love him so much.

His manager let him down last night in my humble.
