Got offered a two-year deal and only signed a one year...No respect for the shirt
As well as being and absolutely outstanding footballer he is also very inoffensive and actually very likeable.I remember the time (can't remember the opponents) where he ran around in a full circle leaving everyone in his wake. I have never seen anything like it. But my best moment was at the Bernabeu when the entire stadium stood to applaud him off the field. Only truly special players get that sort of ovation from Real Madrid fans. He is a genius. One of Spain's greatest ever players with 125 caps in an international team that is one of the best the world has ever seen.
Perhaps the club hasn’t given up hope that he’ll extend one more year?
Oh, easily.Actually is one of the best players ever to play in the Premier League
Couldn't argue with that.Oh, easily.
In with a shout at being THE best imo.
You'd have to give it to CR7 if he was here long enough, but he wasn't. As well as being a nob and playing for *them*.Couldn't argue with that.
Let's be honest .
Name a better player.
Henry... brilliant better than Merlin I'm not sure.
Zola no way.
****ona no chance.
Only player you could say is In with a shout is sergio
You're forgetting the colossus that was Titus Bramble.Couldn't argue with that.

Nice touch from Pep.
Pep has always gone with the player with the most appearances gets the armband.
So he was going to be the captain 99% of the time by default anyway.
It Will be really nice to hear from David a lot more though, if hes taking on the full captaincy role then hell be speaking st press conferences 2x a week.
