Bloody hell Pam that means another 1200 pages of speculation ITKs and wumming don't think I could stand the strain to be honest. All we need is a yes or a no.

Dodgy ankle in 2008?

"Valencia CF have confirmed that forward David Silva will be out of action for three months after it was decided that he required surgery to cure a left ankle complaint.
Physiotheraphy attempt
The 22-year-old Spanish international sustained the injury during Valencia's Spanish Liga opener against RCD Mallorca on 30 August, with the Mestalla club announcing earlier this week that Silva was "suffering chronic inflammation" to the joint. Because the problem failed to respond to physiotherapy, the decision was then taken to operate. Valencia coach Unai Emery said: "His recovery is the important thing now. An operation was inevitable and we wish David the very best so he can return to action as soon as possible." Copa del Rey holders Valencia visit Portugal's CS Marítimo in the UEFA Cup first round on 18 September."

2006/07 49 Games 8 Goals 11 Assists
2007/08 45 Games 6 Goals 13 Assists
2008/09 25 Games 5 Goals 09 Assists
2009/10 36 Game 10 Goals 12 Assists

Seems so, still managed 25 games though so doesn't seem anything serious.

Hi everyone again!
I´ll try my best to answer your questions:
10. Goater_Legend: Nice to see that you like Valencia CF, I´m pretty sure that he will join Manchester City this summer

Prophet of Doom: So kind of you. Hope so we´ll manage to solve our financial status.

The Colonel: I´m sure that Silva will adapt himself very well to Premier League. Of course he is small and thin. But on PL there are a lot of open spaces, and he´s one of the best when we have the chance of a counterstrike. With open spaces he´s just brilliant.

Free styler: Thanks for loving VCF. I am sure he will move to MC since one of the most reliable radio stations in Valencia is talking of it openly. We really need cash, and he wants a project like yours that guarantees him real chances of winning Leagues and Cups.

Jim_tolmies_pern: Thank you very much indeed!

Bumble_blue: nice choice mate! Hope your team will qualify next season for Champions League. You´re signing great players.

Parm: I think so. So many reliable media are talking about it.

Richards30: I´m right now listening to the radio, and they say that for sure he´s moving.

To sum up:
1. Valencia is going to sell him. There´s no doubt about it. We sign "Chori" Dominguez from Rubin Kazan, and Sophian Feghoulí from Grenoble. They both play in the same position as Silva does.
2. Manchester City is the only club that has made an offer that Valencia could accept. Last season Juventus did a 25 million Euros offer that we rejected. This season Chelsea wanted to buy him for 25 million Pounds, and again we rejected. If Manchester City offers 30/35 million Pounds, I´m pretty sure he will go to your club. It´s also important the fact of buying in installments or not. So if you pay a big ammount right now, it will be easier to sign him.
3. If finally you get him, you´ll be enjoying a top class player next season. An extraordinary one.

Bravo! Bravo!

Spanish radio has been all over it the last few weeks, seems a likely deal. Just depends on Chelsea but i think Silva is one of those players we shouldn't back away from on the fee, he'd be worth it.

Even if he fails, he would be a great bargaining tool in a swap for a Barca or Real player at the end of next season. =)
