A bit strange that only the daily star has picked up on these comments, I can not see spain allowing personal interviews while there at the WC.

i read this to but
APPARENTLY players in the Spain camp (allegedly Torres) told him that City are the next big thing in the EPL... so that has (according to the press) changed his opinion.
good move if you ask me

is really short sighted not to come to us cause we dont have CL this season.

I thikn we can have a great crack at the Europa league, plus definately a CL somewhere in the near future

I've said this before, but I think we should keep Robinho instead of chasing Silva - he is the better player and is already ours.

If and only if Robson cannot be worked with is Silva worth pursuing IMO.

If the reports of a clean slate for Robinho are true then I don't think we need to worry about whether Silva will 'snub' us or not.

Agreed. Let's see Robinho doing the business again tonight, then get him back.

This is OK, however, the players heart has to be in it, and at this moment i just don't see it.

From what Ive seen they play similar roles, maybe Robi plays a bit more forward, so I cant see the need to have two on the books. Both good on their day, but both are a gamble. Cant see Chelsea blowing their wage structure for him - there would be lots of dummies thrown out of prams if they did.

ok so we have been linked Krasic, Silva, Yaya, Milner plus we already have NDJ, Barry, AJ, Bellars, Ireland (but maybe not for long), Kompany, Viera,

are we maybe looking at playing a different formation for next season?

i for one fucking hope so.
i suppose looking at the shape and quality of what might be our squad we will be able to play any formation at all and still win games, those players are all top notch and will win far more games than they lose.
if bob's tactics aren't working these players are big enough and good enough to change it themselves mid match.

I think robinho would come back here as I read this mornin he is being offered a new slate by RM and he can start a fresh . Whether he wants to is a different story but i dnt knw why we are chasing a creative attacking midfield player when we alredy have one of the best in the world in robinho and he's alredy ours . Plus we even have stevie ireland who can play there and he is one of the best attacking creative midfielders in the premier league . Silva is better than ireland given but i feel that ireland would do a shift going back a bit aswell as going on bombing forward. it just seems like a waste of time but i woukldnt be dissapointed if we signed him thats for sure

So what you're saying is, if we do well next year it could be in spite of Mancini, not because of him? I see what you did there...
