In my opinion I think if chelsea do bid for him he will go there.....Im a little confused by their transfer activity to be honest...letting Joe cole go (who in my mind is a decent player)....signing benyaoun from liverpool (who aint as good as Joe cole) and then also maybe going gor Silva....who i think plays in a very similar role /way to both those aformentioned players

chelsea have malouda so why would they want silva,an they are after whats his name from liverpool.does'nt make sense them going for silva.but i could be wrong.

Benayoun is a like for like replacement for Cole but probably on half the money he was on, I bet even with the reputed £6 million transfer fee then the overall package including wages will work out less than what Cole was wanting to stay. Chelsea are looking to scale down their wages structure in line with the Fifa rulings, especially with Terry and Lampard having parity status in thier contracts which I think would rule them out offering silly silly wages for Silva
