Anyway, i am not convinced we have much of a chance to sign this guy but i didn't realise he was only 24, certainly a very exciting player but i do have a concern about his strength in this league. 29 Goals and 45 Assists in 155 Games for Valencia though, contributing to almost a goal every 2 games, fantastic statistics for a winger.
How can the speed of an already Done Deal progress?
Anyway, i am not convinced we have much of a chance to sign this guy but i didn't realise he was only 24, certainly a very exciting player but i do have a concern about his strength in this league. 29 Goals and 45 Assists in 155 Games for Valencia though, contributing to almost a goal every 2 games, fantastic statistics for a winger.

good point, it pretty much is, i'm just stating everything is still happening, at the moment it's not looking like anything like collasping or ending.
price has been agreed anyway, has been for weeks.

City felt there was a chance three weeks ago, (Silver Dollar!)
Clearly, someone was touting him. We were then supposed to meet with Valencia in Manchester.
Cook then had to travel to Milan, postponed a meet, and subsequently another a week later in Valencia (re Llorente quotes).
This does not strike me as the actions of a club that are going balls out in recent days, certainly with Silva not on the scene.
My guy tells me that although we showed interest, developments on Milner may have resulted in us cooling Silva to a degree.
I would be astonished if something has been turned around in a matter of a couple of days, albeit delighted.
This rarely happens with world class players, certainly ones who are at camp with their national side and have other things to concentrate on rather than discussing personal terms with us.
