Yeah but these are the same Villa fans who though that Ashley Young was worth £25m the season before. We're exactly the same. We do it with Michael Johnson despite him only playing a handful of games. fans just have a tendency to over rate players just because they play for them.

I'm not saying Milner isn't a good player, but he's nowhere near a £30m player. Whilst i know it's not my money, we've already been stupid in paying £24m for Lescott. Next summer we'll be talking about a £35m deal for the next fashionable England squad player.

Maybe we will have most of the England team one day...just like Braca will have the spanish one :)

Yes but David Silva has also played very well for Valencia in a roll just behind the Strikers. With Berbatov very much out of favour. Rooney with Silva just behind him and Nani and Valencia on the wings is a very strong line-up. If they could sign a top box-to-box man to sit next to fletcher too then they'd be right up there again for a few seasons.

p.s. he's only 24, i thought there limit was 26?

Either way, i hope they want him and miss out.
