As much has been made today about the fact that Ginger bollox might play again next year for the rags(only because their skint) as has been made about us signing one of the most talked about and sought after players from a world cup winning squad!?

I agree with this. Even about a week before we'd confirmed the signing of Silva, both Arbeloa and David's old man said he was signing for City. Now either 'sky sources' are even worse than we think (how difficult is it to look at a Spanish newspaper site and translate it?) or they conveniently ignored these statements in the hope that someone else would get Silva and they could go on for 3 days about how we'd been 'snubbed'. The noisy neighbours have got brand new speakers, and the meeja don't like it.
