Apologies I appear to have got that wrong.

He's still one hell of a player and Madrid want to have more spanish players so why are they not buying him?

Is it because he's already sold?

Because Mourinho only likes players from other nations, There was only one Italian used in the CL final and he was a sub lol.

Inter were like that when he got there though.

Don't think Real or Barca need him, although i guess Barca could get him to play on the left.
 
Real Madrid offers 3 players + cash for Di Maria. The deal is closing. That means Silva to Real is unlikely now.

Benfica has virtually reached an agreement with Marcos Alonso , Real Madrid's youth squad, which form part of the operation Di Maria , Argentine club end target is about to close, according to the Portuguese daily 'Record'. Luso club president Luis Filipe Vieira, was met with Marcos agent to finalize the transaction.

However, Marcos is not the only player who can serve as bargaining chips by Di Maria , whose buyout clause is 40 million euros. According to 'Record', midfield and strikers Pablo Sarabia Alipio Rodrigo and may also enter an operation that assumes the newspaper closed.
