It is a very plausible source and it's easy to see why this person would know of such a deal being struck.

He is indeed highly respected but guessing sources isn't the way to go.

You just know to trust him a little more in future if it is correct in the future.

we made a bid, it was accepted straight away.

we placed the cards on the table, what were gonna offer, what the player will get, around £34mill with £90-95,000 a week, he know's what contract he's getting.

cook was supposed to be going spain, he never went as we know, cook went to germany and milan instead.

things have happened since.
