Hi everyone again. I am right now listening to Radio Nou, to sum up:
1. Valencia wants to sell him. And also, we´re in hurry, because we want to buy Tino Costa (to replace Baraja)
2. He wants to leave VCF (as we are selling every single star we´ve got)
3. Valencia has allowed him to negotiate with Manchester City. It´s the first time that the VCF admits this point. (In the voice of the club´s second most important person: Javier Gomez) This is the main point. The deal between clubs is done, because if not, no one can understand why VCF allow him to negotiate.
4. He prefeers to go to Chelsea (as they will play next season Champions League)
5. If Silva says yes to MC, then everything will be done. Valencia hasn´t admited yet any offer from MC, but for 29 million Pounds will be yours.
6. The wages offered by MC are almost the double he earns in VCF, here he earns 3 million euros per year, you are offering 5 million per year. But the problem doesn´t seem to be the money but the fact of not playing Champions League (the seasson that finally we achieved that)
7. At 23.00, anyone who understand some spanish, could listen at Radio Nou (in Valencian) more info about that.
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.radionou.com/desconex.asp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.radionou.com/desconex.asp</a> (you have to click Valencia)
Anyway, any intersting info will be posted by me here.
See you!
Really appreciate that info. Must be tough to sell off your players. :(

Latest fMan City agree Silva fee with Valencia

Manchester City have agreed a fee of around £29 million with Valencia for David Silva. The Premier league club will now have to agree terms with the Spanish midfielder who is currently on international duty at the World Cup.

Despite recent reports, neither Barcelona or Real Madrid are currently pursuing the player, however, with Silva yet to agree a deal with City - an approach from Chelsea or Manchester United would provide competition for his signature.

Nevertless, David Silva`s representatives have been impressed with City`s determination to land the player and with the club`s ambitious plans for the next season. With a deal for Yaya Toure agreed, City are also in the hunt for James Milner, a centre back, full backs and a forward.

a few of the lads on here reckon balague knows fuck all???

More like: he is impressed with the HUGE paycheck he might get when/if Silva signs for us! greedy Agents.

PS.
Welcome to Manchester David! (you better not flop!)

Having just read a superb post from Pablo80, I for one expect Chelsea to make a move for Silva.
If he is still talking about wanting to play in the CL,then CFC will have the edge.
Depends if we make him an offer he can`t refuse, but would Chelsea match us with a financial package for him ??
Not certain if Joe Cole wanted more than what Chelsea could offer Silva, but at 24 years of age, Silva for Chelsea is a move that I fear could happen.
Please prove me wrong !!!!

richards30: he is allowed to talk with Manchester City during the World Cup.
NewBlue: thank you! we have to get used to sell our players. But history has taught us, that selling players doesn´t necessarily mean to become a worst team. The seasson we sell Piojo Lopez, Mendieta, etc we won la Liga.

i personally would prefer that silva went to chelsea for the right reasons(CL football),rather than to us for the wrong reasons(cash)......
