kinky in you're opinion would you say too many different media outlets both spain and uk are running with this for it to be wrong??

The impression is wrong I think; 'too many' is like having 100 posters on here repeating what they've heard from one other individual poster, the problem is we apply prejudice to such reports, so we'll lap up the Telegraph or diss the Mirror, for example, so it depends entirely on the source. In this case, I'm actually inclined to believe the Spanish source but no one I know has bottomed this one yet and City PR are still MIA.

Hi everyone! I am listening to Radio Nou right now, and they are telling that Manchester City doesn´t want to pay that much for Silva, so maybe you will include Roque Santa Cruz so you will pay less, and we´ll get an striker (as we only have one: Roberto Soldado, after selling David Villa, and Nico Zigic).
Also they are telling that Cook will come to Valencia on monday to talk about the deal.

I can't find anything about rocky and money! This is the latest from the mail.

Chelsea poised to hijack Manchester City deal for £29m-rated Valencia forward David Silva

Comments (7) Add to My Stories Chelsea are poised to hijack Manchester City's move for Valencia winger David Silva.
In demand: Silva is set for City move
City were confident they had a £28million deal in place to bring the Spain international to Eastlands later this summer but the player is said to prefer a move to the Premier League champions.
The 24-year-old, who had also been courted by Real Madrid, was expected to finalise terms on a four year contract worth around £160,000 a week.
City delegates flew to Spain to try and iron out a deal when they were made aware of Chelsea's eleventh hour plans.

But the 24-year-old's agent Julio Llorente has made it clear that any move to City is purely hypothetical at the moment.
Llorente said: `We won't know where he is going this week because we're weighing up offers from three clubs and one of them is Chelsea. If Silva doesn't want to go (to City), the transfer isn't possible.'
