So when we signed him the rags said he was overated, and he was lightweight and he isn't that good, well apart from the early miss today which for his standards you would expect him to score, well he was just amazing again, i rate him world class personally myself.

so after today i asked all my rag mates if they had indeed changed their minds on him after seeing him proper, on their previous comments he wasn't that good.. so anyhow here was the outcome from the 12 rags in question.

7....pretty much still overated, didn't do too much today, goal was fluky, apart from that he had no influence and never worried united. (just along them lines)

3....your best player today, the best player on the pitch, would love him at united, genuine world class player, great footballer....(funnily enough all proper reds, one who goes everywhere and says what he sees and the other 2 just seasonticket holders, certainly a rare breed)

2....maybe i was wrong, he's better than what he though, good but not world class, he might get in our team.

Who cares what a bunch of rags think about Silva...

I imagine if you took a straw poll of blues they'd consider shrek to be overrated as well...

Fact is that Silva is, along with Fabregas, the best 'passing' midfield player in the league...

Might - he would walk into there OAPs team.

Silva or the Ginner thug?

Fantastic player, makes us tick, you only have to look at the Arsenal game to see what effect on our play he has.

A second midfielder with similar vision, speed of thought and fleet of foot would compliment him and Mancini's system.

Had the Rags got the money and were able to persuade David Silva to join them, there is no doubt he would be rated in the same breath as Puskas, Pele, Maradonna, oh no, he would have talent that would eclipse them all. I've watched footy for decades, and he's as good as I've seen. He's the only player that comes close to what Colin Bell brought to the team, but there again, our Colin didn't make the All Manchester Sky Eleven, so . . . . . . .

Best view on Silva is to listen to a non-Rag. At least yer might get some balance.

He's better than Kinky.

Tin hat on.

Silva is simply dazzling. World class. 2 similar players: Modrik anmd Nasri took 1-2 years to sellte and play anything like they can. Silva is doing it in his first season. Next season he will be even better.
