I could watch him all day, unbelievable skill...i still find it hard to
believe we have him

please don`t let all this be a dream

Something else that I love him for; never seen a player work so hard and with such productivity and quality in whatever position he is on the pitch.
I doubt he can keep up the completeness of his game every match, but as someone else said it doesn't matter. This lad could be at 50 percent and he would still be miles better than much of the Prem can offer.

David’s cousin died aged 5. It affected him a lot and he always thinks of her when he scores
— says David Silva's dad Fernando

An interview with Silva's dad and family on David's past. There are too many pictures to properly copy/paste. It's worth a read so click.

His grandmother, Antonia Montesdeoca, said: "He played with potatoes and oranges in front of the house when he was four or five.

"Sometimes I chucked him out of the passageway because, between him and his cousin Ranzel they were driving me mad with football, football, football.

"I made them a ball from rags and sent them out into the street."

Ha ha. Kicking rags off the park since he was a kid.
