The first time he played in that pre season friendly I just thought 'wow!!'
At the time I just thought I might be easily impressed by a player that was a step up from what I was used to. Little did I know that this player would continue to go on to his present form.
It's not just his ability; early on I was incredibly impressed by his professionalism and his desire to learn the Prem style whilst patiently waiting and not throwing a hissy fit just because he didn't start every game.
It was worth the wait.
