interview he did for a spanish newspaper 2 weeks ago i want to know what hes saying

Guys I speak Spanish and have 20 mins on my hands so I've translated it for you :)

How have you adapted to life (in Britain)?

In the beginning it is hard because it is so different. The weather is cold and its been snowing so I don't go out much.

What's your English like?
I didn't know hardly anything when I came and they speak very quickly here so it's difficult to catch what they say.

Whats the team like?
Really good and I feel more and more important to the team as time goes on. Tevez has been a great help to me and it's been great as he is such an important player for the team being the leading goalscorer last season.

The team is getting much better as we are now fighting for the title and in Europe as well. We are just waiting for the FA Cup to start.

What's made the biggest impression on you?
I feel the atmosphere at the games, at any game at all there is always a fantastic atmospehere, also the league is very comeptitive.

Would you return to Spain?
Day-to-day I'm really enjoying it here but who knows what'll happen as time goes by. If I have to go back to Spain then I would like that very much as it is a beautiful league to play in.

Barca, RM or .....City?
I had various options but CCity pushed betted hard on me and I didn't have to think about my choice.

Cue various presents and a little chat about advice his Grandma has given him living in a foreign country, essentially, keep yourself safe.

Little present for him of Turron, polverones and something else, all typical sweets eaten around Xmas in Spain.

I adore David Silva! Even when he was just a little guy getting attacked by critics when he first joined, I wanted him to do well. I'm so glad he's making those know-nothing journalists choke on their own words. I have a soft spot for little guys.As for the Spanish interview...In a nutshell, it took him a while to adjust to the weather in England because it's colder and wetter than Spain, he thinks learning the language is difficult because he says you guys speak very quickly (I'm an American from the Midwest and I can confirm you guys speak much faster than we do), between Barca, Real and City it was always City, and he can't say if he'll play in Spain again or not at this point. Very rough translation and I didn't catch all of what he said because I'm used to a Mexican or Castillian dialect, not Andalusian.

I'm five seven and a bit..
Chuckled at that.

cheers for that, much appreciated

he is the one that makes everything work, it all goes through him. with him, yaya, ndj and the two centre halfs we have a really strong core to the team now, and that is what will define our success, carlos is no longer the top dog for me

i love reading the earlier reports from the 'so-called' experts regarding Silva's introduction to the league
i think he has stood out as a man with class in his boots since his introduction at white hart lane, even though there were a number of detractors back then

he's slowly grown in stature and we began to see how he can control a game when he came on against Blackpool and now you see him make us click week in week out

his partnership with yaya is an odd one, but its certainly working for us

I was worried how long it would take him to adapt to the English game when we first signed him but those worries were completely wiped away within a couple of months. To be having such a big impact on this team having only been playing here for a few months shows what a great talent he is. Just wish commentators and pundits would stop calling him David Villa :D

he really does look like the real deal. Personally, I would like to see a few more goals from him which would add another dimension to his game but then again I don't think he has ever scored that many goals. He is a lovely player to watch.

However good Silva is I think if Kinky was playing in his poisiton with this team he would actualy be the bnearest thing to Messi on God's eartch - he would have run riot!!

For New Year we've been invited round to friends for a Murder Mystery dinner party (did one last year and it was a right laugh) and you have to dress as your allocated character.
This years theme is Las Vegas and I'm a magician.

Seriously thinking of going in a David Silva shirt
