I would have thought it would be unlikely for either him or Balotelli to start next week. I would expect both to be on the bench for Southampton.

As long as Silva and Balotelli are training well, there's no reason why they shouldn't play against Chelsea. It's not like they've been out injured..

I think Silva will play in the CS, whether he stays on for 90mins is another question but he shouldbe fit enough.
