I was fortunate enough to watch Bell from the time he was signed. He and Merlin are my all-time favourite Blues.

They are obviously very different players, but there seems to be some similarities in that while both extremely talented, they are very humble, shun the spotlight and attention, very much team players who are happy for others to take the glory, and both seemingly underrated by the wider public.

How on earth Adam Lallana and Raheem Sterling got in last seasons team of the year ahead of Silva is just baffling. In my opinion it was his best full-season for City. It's a privilege to watch him play, he makes passes that most players can't even see are possible.

How spanish dave goes under the radar nationally baffles me! There are very few players in the world can do what he can! He should be main man for spain next to iniesta, but is peripheral! Sod em all I say! We know and I think he knows we know. Thats why hes still with us! Genius!
