David Villa Wants Prem Move (Direct Quotes)

Notice how it says 'and Manchester City'? That's because at his age he would only be coming here for the money. If he comes here at all it will be to Chelsea or Liverpool, if they have the money. United are skint, reportedly, so thats a fairly concrete no that he will go to them. At 29 he is going to want CL football or a real chance to win the PL. Mancini or not, we can't offer him that. Nice thought though. Surprised he is 29, I thought he was early-mid 20's, at the most.

Cassano?!! Fuck that. Biggest trouble maker in football, a player who lasted 6 months in Real Madrd before being shipped out on loan, to Sampdoria I think it was. Nah, wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. Also, where are Ade and Robinho?

You talk allot of shit

Comparing Shevchenko to Villa

Go watch La Liga you muppet instead of commenting on things you have no clue about.

Shev - Goal every 1.6 games
Villa - Goal every 1.4 games

Shev - Stayed with his club until his best days were up, then allowed his cash strapped club to cash in on him.
Villa - Said he never wanted to leave Spain until he's, oh, 28, then decides he would like to move to the PL. His club are also strapped for cash.

Oh, and less of the personal insults.

He's not 29. He was 28 about 3 weeks ago. Striker at his peak anyone?

Not sure if he would be the right move for us, I would rather go for someone younger like Aguero, Pato etc. Luckly we have a good manager now who can judge players well and whatever he decides im gonna go with that. :)

1. Liverpool can't afford him
2. Liverpool are in no better position than us to be able to offer CL football next season

United could get the money together if need be - of that I am sure.
