Torres is better for me, he has the pace and finishing of Villa with physical presensce added to it

its impossible to compare when they are in different leagues. they both are equally brilliant in my eyes, defo top 2 strikers in the world but if you look at the international stage its always villa who gets the goals not torres

Yeah but villa is scoring goals left and right for valencia and there are no quality attackers next to him in the team. Torres is great in the premier league because he's physically strong but when he was in the spanish la liga (where physicallity is not that important but rather skills is whats matters in spain) villa had the upper hand. Villa has more impressive scoring record in spain than Torres (with atletico) back then.

I'd put it this way,

skills : Villa > torres

strength: torres > villa

Intelligents in moving into spaces and creating chances for teammates: Villa > torres

No way does Villa have better skills the Torres. If Valencia give him permission, he can do whatever the fuck he wants. The pre-contract in the last 6 months is only for a Bosman move. You can sign a player outside the window, they just can't be registered until then.
