I'd be surprised if he went to Bayern. There was supposed to be a deal for him going there this season but they bought Kouassi instead and left him high and dry.
They currently have Alaba, Sule, Lucas Hernandez & Boateng as centre back options. Kouassi might replace Boateng, Pavard has said during the coronavirus break that he wants to play CB not right back long term.
They have too many CB's as it is. More likely they buy a proper RB when Boateng goes and let Pavard play in his preferred position.
Maybe if the end up selling Alaba and Sule gets injured again, but Bayern tend to plan things quite well, and opting out of a €40m transfer in 2020 only to sign him for north of €65m next summer doesn't sound like Bayern.

He is a CB who plays RB. He was mostly a CB for Stuttgart before moving to Bayern but got put RB for France because of injuries and carried on there at Bayern because Kimmich said he was fed up of being RB and got moved to midfield.
Pavard wants to be a CB long term, he did an interview in April or May where he made it clear.
So I think Bayern will buy a RB not another CB.

Seems like Koulibaly is happening or more likely to happen than Upamecano but Upamecano seems to be a really dominant centre half who has a bit of the Rolls Royce about him too. Would love us to sign Dayot.Hopefully city are doing it on the quiet like they often do!

I mean, I like the guy too. But Diego Costa is not hard to handle when you are stronger and tougher than him. He bullies soft CBs like Garcia or Stones. For the right fee then definitely but as said in the earlier post he is still inexperienced to be our main man

He is NOT raw. It's like saying Aouor is raw. It's a silly claim. Talented CL Semifinalist. And a cog in his team's machine. Not a side piece. Young? Yes! Raw? Absofuckinglutely not!
