De Bruyne Alternative?

Depends if we still want pogba or not. We had big cash aside for that so if we can't get pogba then we should use the funds and get bale asap! Imagine a lineup with bale, sterling, silva, yaya, Fernandihno and Aguero!
 
I think we will get KDB eventually..griezmann, bale etc will be silva's replacement should be want to leave in the near future, or if sterling flops (no chance!)
 
blow arsenal out of the water with an offer they can't refuse for sanchez... I think we'd have a real shot at CL with him in the side. He has everything we need

Bale an afterthought?! If we 'still want' Pogba?

If Bale was available/interested in joining us we wouldn't have bothered with Sterling. We've clearly always wanted Pogba and haven't been able to make it happen for whatever reason.

To tempt Arsenal to sell we would need to place a bid in excess of 100 million. Sanchez enjoys being in London and being the main man. This is not Football Manager FFS.
 
I really like the look of Montero at Swansea. Impresses me every time I watch him.

Anonymous on Twitter is banging on about Bale. Apparently, and I say that in inverted commas, RM have offered him to us for 95m euros.
 
I really wish bale was more than a possibility, but surely not? I would be absolutely speechless if we got him. No offence Kevin, but if bale was available I would drop any interest in you immediately.
 
Griezman would be a great alternative but Atletico Madrid had already turned Chelsea's bid earlier on in the transfer window.
 
It'll be almost impossible to sign a player of Bale's magnitude this late in the window.

The best alternative would be to get someone like Mertens who is a good/dangerous player but has not yet reached his peak.
