Well, United fans have been liking to use the Pogba being injured as an excuse of their woes for the 2nd quarter of last season, so this is really a perfect opportunity to showcase that we're a team not reliant on anyone and we're not a team looking for any excuses.

As much as we've lost a creative impetus, I geuniely believe the presence of Mendy should go a long way to help us out in terms of a direct creative threat and making up for the loss of Kev.

This is true. Whilst I think Bernardo will become a true star this season, I just think we look more calm and composed with KDB on the pitch. As soon as he came on v Arsenal I knew we'd win.

Gutted he’s injured as I love watching him play and he is a key player. That said, as long as King David is fit we’ll be fine with him and Bernardo in the two 8 positions. Sure Mahrez could do a job there aswell. Then there is Foden who can come in against any lesser teams and hopefully do a job.

I personally don’t want to see Gundogan in KDB’s place he’s proven time and time again that he is not an adequate replacement for either of the 8’s in our team.

Everything seems to be falling into place for the dippers at the moment but it won’t last. Remember we have the best manager of all time and a fantastic squad. Obviously this is a major blow but come the end of the season I still think we will be the ones with the trophies, the dippers will be left with phlegm rash

A lot of unproven talent and some not setting the place alight on that list. This is what happens in football all the time you have to make the best of things. Objectively if this is Mendy like we will have little chance of hitting the heights of last season but we still should be able to compete in the league. We can probably kiss the CL goodbye however as we need Kev to beat the best. Lets hope he is back for Spuds/Rags.

Could be a blessing in disguise as he can have a good rest and come back fresh in 6-8 weeks and be on blob for the rest of the season.
