De Bruyne injury - Back in Training (p89)

Positive considering it could have been much worse. It's quite concerning that he's strained the same ligament twice now though (in two years?), so hopefully his recovery training will strengthen it back up for the rest of the season.

Now Kev knows there is a weak point in his body, right knee inside ligament.

It's especially under pressure in a fully streched leg with foot on the ground. It happens trying to get a foot in to reach a ball.

Anyway, Dr Cugat will have told Kev everything he has to watch out for.

3 months will be at the top end of the recovery period expected. That Belgian journalist will have been fed directly by Kev's agent or people close to him so 2 months won't be out of the question. Should imagine he'd be ready for around the time of the Spurs away game and then we'll have Belgium wanting to take him away for the Internationals the week after

Kangaroos could be the key to getting players like Alex Johnson back to full health
Over to Oz for our Kev.

Might depend a bit on how we are travelling come mid October.

The season is long but if you fall off the pace its not easy to play catch up.

Hopefully they see the 3 months as the full period where he's back to 100% fitness. Either way he cannot be rushed back. Good luck with the rehab Kev

Hopefully 3 months reported by the club is the very worst case scenario... as that is a bloody big chunk of the season and would be a huge blow
