If he wins everything as well as makes more than required appearances (played games/mins), then yes... He COULD earn up to that much.
Don't forget we work on the FCB model of Basic + high Bonus...

All our wages are incentive based pay, so may he may be able to earn that, his basic rate won't be anywhere near that.

The fact that the window shuts at a specific time creates it's own deadline and pressure. That is why things drag on with everybody posturing and jockeying and then as soon as the window looms into view it concentrates everyones mind, it's suddenly shit or bust time and people drop their bargaining stances and face up to what the reality is.Very good post, i must confess, mate but I need you to pay attention to this: we cannot deny that there's been some urgency about this move in the past few days and my question is why didn't we "push" (i use this word for want of another that would explain my point better) them to do the very things they are doing now: denying our bids, insisting that KDB is happy with them, etc earlier. Negotiations are done in private alright but time and again information somehow finds its way into the public domain and I'll butress this point by saying that all confirmed transfers in Europe to this day once started as rumours. To discount all rumour, hearsay, speculation, report etc is to shy away from reality. Many will be wrong but a fair amount will turn out correct. The point I'm making is if for some reason we are not able to pull this one, then we have to ask questions. Its easy to make excuses but the reason we brought Txixi on board was so we could levearge on his relationships to get deals (good ones of course) done and if he can't maybe someone else can. If we keep making these kinds of excuses for him, we'll end up not signing the better players in Europe and blaming it on some conspiracy against us by other clubs
