De Bruyne?

He can play very well on the right but his best position is silva's position, I don't want us spending over £50 million on someone and then not playing him in his best position. One of the reasons he left chelsea was because mourinho was playing him on the wings in pre season instead of centrally
There's no way Silva will be moved out wide to accommodate. I would reckon his position would be down the right.

Even fucking John Stones has put in a transfer request, although I suppose that's to persuade Evilton to come to the table whereas Wolfsburg are already there, allegedly . Even so, KDB seems reluctant. What if he is chickening out, offs.

I will never eat another ginger biscuit if this falls thorough. I will start a boycot of carrots. Plus my ginger cat can fuck right off.

Trying to think of it from a Wolfsburg fans perspective and surely it's more of a slap in the face him not asking for a transfer and blatantly wanting to move? ****'s trick. Just be honest

He plays on the right for belgium and he's good at it. If he doesn't want to play there he wouldn't be coming. There is no chance we are moving Silva out of the middle, and I'm sure part of the discussions he's had with the club before we spent all summer chasing him would be about what our plans for him would be.

Or he stays at Wolfsburg and ends up at Bayern in 12 months time.

All right I think that I'm going to be unpopular here but I really don't want De Bruyne to come here. Why? I don't know where he will fit into the team without affecting the balance of the team. I don't think we will spend over £50 million on someone to play in his unnatural position which means that Silva is most likely to be asked to play on the left or right. Silva has stated publicly for spain that he hates playing on the right which means that he will have to play him on the left like last season. The problem with this is that we will have to move sterling over to the right, yes he can play well here but his best position is on the left and as we have seen early on the season he has a good relationship with kolorov.

I'd be much happier with

Navas Silva Sterling

Aguero

than

sterling de bruyne silva

aguero

because it the second option gets rid of the width.

If I were to get one "realistic" bundesliga player then it would have to be aubameyang from dortmund. I know he signed a new contract but i read somehwere that dortmund would be willing to let him go for £35 million and we all know that contracts don't mean anything in football, especially these days. This would solve another issue because he can also play up front if needed. This means that no balance will be lost because he can just come in on the right hand side instead of navas, who has been brilliant this season i must add.

This would leave us with around £25 million to spend which I would buy krychowiak from sevilla. For me he is the best defensive midfielder in the world after busquets and is a huge upgrade from fernando. Another advantage from this is that we would steal him from arsenal, the clowns .

I apologise if my imagination is getting the better of me but I really don't want de bruyne to come here because a) he is expensive and b) i think he would ruin the balance of the team.
Apart from Navas on the right and Aguero up top, you wouldn't have to worry about the formation game. Our players have pace, flexibility, intelligence and it is this that gives us the unpredictability that scares opposition to death. Other than Navas, these players can pop up anywhere in the opposition's half and to think that any, especially Silva, being glued to one small area of the pitch is ludicrous. KDB would simply add to the mix, and besides, there are injuries to consider. If players were only suited to one particular type of formation, then as injury plays it's part, we could well be finished without having flexibility.

Just got back from the Moon.

On a serious note, my mobile is broken.

Just logged on.

Has the story about Bayern and De Bruyne got legs, or is it just another........(fill in as appropriate)

Basically, what's the latest (no) news.

Thanks.

This transfer has got shades of Sanchez, Hazard and Isco written all over it. Tell Wolfsburg to gtf at this point.

Why hasn't the relationship between Bayern and Wolfsburg been looked into by UEFA, etc.

Volkswagen own Wolfsburg 100%
Audi own 10% of Bayern
Volkswagen own Audi 100%

Volkswagen's CEO (who own Wolfsburg) sits on the Bayern board of directors.

Can you imagine if Sheikh Mansour sat on Arsenal's board? I'm sure the FA would like a word...

It's a good point, perhaps you should write a letter to UEFA and highlight your concerns

Not massively clued up on German football but I presume that would be a big no no in the fans eyes? Akin to Rooney playing for Utd for a year whilst everyone knows he will love to Chelsea the year after?
