De Bruyne?

Bookies don't always get it right (thanks Fred) but they do need a deeper understanding of the real world as they exist for the purpose of making money. If they fail in this, then like anyone else of incompetence they are out of that business. Whatever way a market turns, and if they are in it, they will not want the winner to win too much but they will offer daft odds for outsider bets that entice punters into DreamWorks. So when I read of tumbling odds, then it translates into something near the truth rather than dreams. It therefore means, IMO, that the business is nearing completion here.

Or money is going on & they are reacting to it.

So is conclusion of a signing nearer?

De Bruyne would be a great attacking signing for us and one which I hope happens. If he signs IMO he has managed it well. Gone for summer holiday. Rested &comes back refreshed, focused and ready to beat Chelsea to the title.

He will be more mature from his spell at Chelsea & his time in Germany. He will improve as a player with us & because of that improve us as a team.

All good I think. Of course time will tell..

Kompany on De Bruyne.

“Kevin is a phenomenal talent. He’s a game-changer, he’s efficient in front of goal but he’s also a great passer, which is probably his biggest quality,” Kompany told Goal.

“I try not to influence too much but I do recognise the fact that he’s an unbelievable talent and any team he goes to, he will make that team stronger.

“If he comes to City, I would be one of the happiest guys in the team. But it’s not my call and it’s his decision to make.
