That's the main thing I've learned from this thread, that Bild are an absolute fucking joke outfit, as bad or worse than our worst tabloids & nothing they say, whatsoever, can be trusted.
They just set us up for the 'he would prefer Bayern Munich' bullshit, exactly like the rag tops do with Utd,with all our transfer targets here. Then even threw in the 'unnamed Premier League club' with a late bid, which of course we all knew, was going to be named sooner or later as Manchester Utd, to get clicks from their moron supporters, & then of course the shit media here will jump on it.
