Yeah, Friday afternoon is the deadline iirc. However, it's unlike Pellegrini to throw a new signing into the fray before they've trained with the squad, see Otamendi being left out of the Everton clash. We'll probably only see him play after the international break.

Anyone know by what time does he have to register to be eligible?

I don't think he'd play anyway. If we were in crisis, we'd be tempted to chuck him in. But since everything is going so well I reckon we'll let him have some training sessions first and then he'll make his debut after the international break.
