Why would he start training and leave? I think it's probably a legitimate injury. Not saying that means anything about his transfer but it's weird to assume he stopped halfway through training because of the transfer, surely he wouldn't have started training if something was happening.

Actually it has happened many many times in the past when a player has been informed by his club, during training, that there has been a bid accepted.

Doubt that is the case here, but it would be a good excuse for him to miss the game this weekend, so the team doesn't have to train with him in their game plan, if a deal is close.
