Not quite! An ellipse is a very specific form of curve on a plane - but to the layman it's a squashed circle.
As for an ellipsis, that is most commonly represented by three dots, but it doesn't have to be. There's umpteen variations on the form.

Bold statement but I'd say we are just ahead or at least on par with Bayern now. Barca, no one can match. Madrid are also ahead of us. But Bayern...

Ours might look better on paper but in reality them lads at Bayern have done the business for years together, and if we meet in the champions league that will prove vital leading to us getting knocked out no doubt.
