De Bruyne?

Ah fuck me, it's never easy is it?

It makes you wonder what the negotiations were for, were we trying to find a way to make sure certain people didn't behave like cunts?

I think we have established that Kevin wants to come here. Of that I'm confident. We wouldn't negotiate and then bid without that certainty.

This is Wolfsburg fighting for every last penny now, although again I'd have have thought that might have been agreed off the record whilst talking. It would seem not.

Again, I come back to, what have we actually been negotiating? For 2 whole months? His waist size?

Such longevity in them, would make you think when the bid goes in, we are home and dry.

But it's this hard? Really?

He will be a blue in the end, player power rules, but the fucking soap opera in between really fucks with my head.

Exactly. We're all aware these are massive deals with a lot of money at stake. However, the drama that comes along with it just seems unneeded. Some of it is just immature and unprofessional.

Like the comments of "We'd understand if he wanted to go to Bayern, Real, Barca but not City". Or that we've turned his head with money. Come on...

We need Joffrey on this.

This guy
Don't know if this was posted already

Per ESPN FC: 07.53 BST: Looking for Kevin De Bruyne updates? There's not much to update for now it seems. "Nobody has contacted me," Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs has told Bild. "We reckon that things will move in the next days."

First time i've heard Klaus Allofs say anything of the sort.

this guy Allofs is a fucking joke. He is starting to sound like a man who just likes to hear the sound of his own voice. Idk what his strategy is of providing sound bites for the press on what seems like a daily basis.

I can understand if he wants to try to hassle us for more money, but if that was the case I don't know why he wouldnt do that in private negotiations between the clubs. I think we're past the point of negotiations where they would try to pretend that Kevin doesn't want to join us.

Facts are kevin rejected a new contract and has not downplayed the rumours of him wanting to join us. If Wolfsburg wants more money they should just let it be known privately. The only thing I can think of that would make Wolfsburg put up this dog and pony act is that they want Kevin to put in a formal transfer request to save on loyalty bonus/ being seen by their fans as not wanting to sell.
