So do we only sign spanish players then?
No, he is simply saying De Jong is shit because he won't sign an extension.
Aaaah thank christ for that. I thought I was getting all silly.

As if Bayern would need a De Jong-type player. They have already two players which are similar to him with Tymoshchuk and Gustavo.
Bayern already told that they do not have an interest at all and that it his agent who tries to offer him to other clubs.
you sound like a Bayern fan

She is a Bayern fan.

Yes - I am a Bayern fan. But that does not mean that my opinion would count less - I know that team and the persons a lot better. But Bayern does not need the De-Jong-type of player. That is what we already have - and the two that play there will only play in this position when we do not play with a Schweinsteiger-Kroos-central midfield. De-Jong would not be an improvement - why should he play more at Bayern than he would at Manchester City? And for a part time player he would be too expensive. Bayern does not pay bad - but usually not as good especially for squad players as ManCity does.

If you look for a new player he would have to be better than the usual starters - be able to give the starters a hard competition or be another option for a different play. De Jong just is not that player.

Bayern is looking for a defensive midfielder with great passing and built up qualities like Martinez or a dynamic box-to-box-player - nothing of what De Jong is. And he is nobody that is known to stand out in important matches (Bayern might be in need of that ;)

You have players that would start in the Bayern team - as well as Bayern probably has players that would be starters in your team. Hart would not play at Bayern as there is Neuer, but Silva certainly would and Yaya Toure probably, too. But De-Jong isn't one of it. He would only compete with two other defensive midfielders for a place in the team that is only there in about max. 40 per cent of all match situations, then when extra security is needed.

-----------------

It was the same with Dzeko. He is not really different from what Gomez is - the usual system is a 4-2-3-1, they never could play together in a 4-4-2 as they are to similar and he is too expensive to buy him as a reserve player. Bayern made good bargains with their actions for the forward position - they loaned Petersen, who just not is good enough by now for Bayern, to Bremen and got Claudio Pizarro, who already played as second striker for Bayern from 2001 to 2007 for free. Olic, who never really came back from his injury (and did not get enough playing time to do so) changed to Wolfsburg and probably will be a bargain for them as Magath will give him the chances. And we bought Mandzukic who is another type of striker than Gomez is - less a poacher but able to participate more into the match. It is not like you really needed a poachertype of striker when you have Robben, Müller and Ribery in the team.

The news paper article that told about an exchange against Müller was most ridiculous - they would not let him out of the contract for no money no matter how good he really is (and he is not played to his potential in the actual system) - Bayern and some of the marketing partners want to establish themselves especially in India and China and he is a weapon there because of the World Cup, the identification with the club and his personality. Nobody else fits that so good like him - as it means not only the club but German goods like Audi, Adidas, Allianz etc.

Everton's Marijuana Fallaini is your man for box-to-box midfielder. He's fucking top class and would get in any side in Europe in my opinion.

I only have seen him in comparison to Khedira and Kroos in the German-Belgium match - and there the other two had more of a meal. But in that match Hazard did not show up either against the side with Höwedes and Müller. I have not watched Everton, so.

Likewise Neuer wouldn't get in our team.
