De Jong's currently 2nd highest paid Dutchman. he wants more

Tevez is highest paid player on £150k per week. Will people stop quoting wank tabloids as you make me feel sick that you've been taken in.

De Jong will sign, this is all part of the process of negotiating and they are old quotes.

No-one knows what any of them are on for sure, so all people as fans can do is go off the reported figures. I'm not talking about the ridiculous wages spouted by that dead looking Paul Smith who said Yar'yay' Toure is on £250k a week. The ones which say £180k - £200k, there's no reason to not believe that. Like I say though no-one on here knows for sure what any of the players are on, it's hearsay and what contributes to debate. I have read Balotelli is on around £90k a week. Now if he is on £90k a week, De Jong who is on a reported £60k a week has every right to want more.

If he wants 100k a week, I would offer him 120k just to make sure he was happy.

if you pay 100k a week a DM who score a goal every 3 years then you have to pay at least 500k a week the strikers who scores for fun

That's not right at all. Each player has a different role, each role being as important as the other. If Kompany asked for a rise to £150k a week for stopping goals, he would deserve it as much as Aguero for example for scoring them. It's not about goals, it's about roles that make up a team, and they're all as important as each other.
