I'm sure the club will make NDJ a generous offer, if he signs a new deal then great, but if not then that's his decision and I'd wish him well. Personally I don't think City supporters should be calling our own players greedy without knowing what all the facts are.....I'm more than happy to let fans of other clubs do that!

we all know De Jong is one of the best holding midfield players in the world but in my opinion the club should not back down from there stance on 80k a week, his standing or not in the club is regardless. The club should tell De Jong if he is not happy on 80k a week to try and find himself a club that would pay him more than 80k a week and there would be none. This is something we should do with all of our players that are not happy on the money they are on.

His point of view on the matter might be that we are bringing in new signings ( Aguero ) that are on 200k a week but the difference is that he can get that money at other clubs for example Juventus had Tabled a 250k week offer to him apparently, so city had to come close to this to sign him.
